MoUs Signed

  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered into between CSIR-SERC and Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Bengaluru, on 17th December, 2021, for the GAP project titled “Strengthening studies for performance enhancement of existing transmission line towers” under RSOP scheme of Ministry of Power (MoP), Government of India.
  • A Non-disclosure Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. AGNIKUL COSMOS Private Limited, Chennai, on 5th October, 2021, for a proposed project titled “AGNIBAAN - Commercial Launch Vehicle”.
  • Umbrella Memorandum of Understanding between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Lab To Market Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, was entered into on 23 June 2021 for "Development and Deployment of Structural Health Monitoring Systems to meet the Requirements of Monitoring and Managing the Assets and Operations of Railways".
  • License agreement between CSIR-SERC and M/s. L&T Construction, Mumbai, was entered into on 07 May 2021 for licensing technology “Textile Reinforced Concrete Boundary Wall Panels and Precast Drains”.
  • Umbrella Memorandum of Understanding was entered into between CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, and the East Central Railway, Dhanbad, on 3rd February, 2021, for the project “Assessment of Structural Adequacy of RDSO’s Standard Composite Girders for Designed Loading Standard by Instrumentation as per RDSO BS-106R and Recommendations for Retrofitting of Superstructure of Bridges (if any) of Various Spans Newly Constructed under Chief Administrative Officer/ Construction/South, East Central Railway”.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Pressmach Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, on 14th December, 2020, for transfer of technology on “Portable Lightweight Foldable Module for Make-shift Hospitals and Other Needs (Poli-Tal (M))”.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Advait Infratech, Ahmedabad, on 12th November, 2020, for transfer of tTechnology on “Emergency Retrieval System for Power Lines (ERS)”.
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered into between CSIR-SERC and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, on 10th November, 2020, for the project “Evaluation of Dynamic Characteristics of Shut-off-rod Assembly Using Pseudo Dynamic Test Facility”.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. L&T Construction – Building & Factories IC, Chennai, on 5th November, 2020, for transfer of technology on “Portable Lightweight Foldable Module for Make-shift Hospitals and Other Needs (Poli-Tal (M))”.
  • Cooperation Agreement for Indo-Germany Collaborative Project “Clean Water” titled “Modular Lightweight Wastewater Treatment Units made with TRC for Rural and Periurban Dwellings” was entered into by (a) CSIR-SERC, (b) M/s. RWTH Aachen University (KoR), Aachen, Germany, The Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, (d) M/s. Raina Industries Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, and (e) M/s. Betonwerk Hentzscheil GmbH, Elsterwerda, Germany, on 16th October, 2020.
  • A Non-disclosure Agreement titled “Design Approval/Vetting and Design Checking/Analysis of Transmission Line Towers including Foundation for Different Soil Conditions” was between CSIR-SERC and M/s. InDriya Power Ltd., Mumbai, on 1st October, 2020.
  • A Non-disclosure Agreement titled “Developing a Relationship towards Technology/system Development in the Area - Sensor & Solution Development & Analysis for Structural Health Monitoring” was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Honeywell Automation India Ltd., Pune, on 3rd September, 2020.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Vasavi Concrete Solutions, Kurnool, on 18th June, 2020, for transfer of technology on “Geopolymer Blocks”.
  • A Non-disclosure Agreement in connection with “COVID-19 Make-shift Hospital Facilities Using Lightweight Structural Technology as Developed by CSIR Laboratories” was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Mumbai, on 30th May, 2020.
  • A Non-disclosure Agreement concerning the disclosure of Confidential Information with regard to “Portable and Lightweight Modular Transit Hospital Structure (Poli-Tal-M) Technology” was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Mumbai, on 26th May, 2020.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s Sapphire Consultants, Thane, on 5th March 2020 for transfer of technology on “Textile Reinforced Concrete Prototyping Technology (TRCPT)”
  • MoU was signed between CSIR-SERC and Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi on 23 October 2019, for “Intellectual cooperation scholarly exchange, and the development of national partnership”.
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered into between CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai, on 28th August,2019, at CSIR-SERC, Chennai, for the project on “Cyclic and Monotonic Fracture Studies on Similar Pipe Girth Weldments at Operating Temperature”.
  • License Agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. KPS Brick Industries, Erode, Tamilnadu on 22nd August, 2019 for transfer of technology on “Eco-friendly Geopolymer Blocks”.
  • Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was entered into between CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre and Public Works Department, Government of West Bengal, on 6th June, 2019 for "Safety Auditing, Capacity Augmentation and Service Life Enhancement of the Identified/Selected Bridges under Public Works Department, Government of West Bengal".
  • MoU was signed between CSIR-SERC and lndian lnstitute of Technology Madras (llTM) on 27th September 2018 for “Intellectual cooperation scholarly exchange, and the development of national partnership”.
  • MoU was signed between CSIR-SERC and lndian lnstitute of Technology Tirupati on 5th July 2018 for “Intellectual cooperation scholarly exchange, and the development of national partnership”.
  • MoU was signed between CSIR-SERC and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai on 10th June 2018 for “Fatigue crack growth studies on full scale dissimilar metal pipe welds”.
  • A tripartite agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC, NRDC and M/s Kiran Global Geocements Limited, Chennai, on 10 June 2018, for transfer of Technology for Geopolymer Blocks.
  • MoU was signed between CSIR-SERC and lndian lnstitute of Technology Guwahati (llTG) on 17th April 2018 for “Intellectual cooperation scholarly exchange, and the development of national partnership”.
  • A tripartite agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC, NRDC and M/s. Natural Waste Management Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Krishna (dt.), A.P. on 26 February 2018, for transfer of Technology for Construction of Toilet Unit with Precast Thin Segmental Elements.
  • A tripartite agreement was signed between CSIR-SERC, NRDC and M/s. Fractal Enterprise, Vishakhapatnam, on 26 February 2018, for transfer of Technology for Construction of Toilet Unit with Precast Thin Segmental Elements.
  • MoA was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Lakshmi Srinivas Engineers, Hyderabad, on 07 August 2017, for transfer of technology on Technology for Construction of Water Tank Using Flow-able Cement Mortar.
  • MoA was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Lakshmi Srinivas Engineers, Hyderabad, on 07 August 2017, for transfer of technology on Technology for Construction of Toilet Unit with Precast Thin Segmental Elements.
  • A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between CSIR-SERC and Durgapur Steel Plant (DSP) of Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL), a PSU Maharatna under Ministry of Steel, Govt. of India, on 22 June 2017, for condition assessment of concrete and steel structures of different shops and installations in SAIL-DSP situated at Durgapur.
  • A memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Smart Built Prefab Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, on 10 June 2017 (during the CSIR-SERC foundation day celebrations), for technology transfer for manufacturing textile reinforced concrete panels for the construction of rapid built, affordable, light weight and durable toilets.
  • A memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s. Level9 Biz Pvt. Ltd., Mohali, on 18 May 2017, for transfer of technology on Pre-fabricated EPS – Lightweight reinforced concrete building technology.
  • A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), New Delhi for the condition assessment of RCC/ steel structures in NTPC power stations spread across the country, and provide recommendations for suitable repair and remedial measures to ensure the structural integrity and restoration of life and health of affected structures. The MoU was signed on 4 April 2017, by Prof. Santosh Kapuria, Director, CSIR-SERC and Shri Susanta Kumar Roy, Executive Director (OS), NTPC, Noida.
  • A memorandum of understanding (MoU) and agreement was signed with Research Designs & Standards Organisation (RDSO), Lucknow, for evaluation and management of longitudinal force on substructure of railway bridges. The MoU and agreement was signed between Prof. Santosh Kapuria, Director, CSIR-SERC, Chennai, and the Director (B&S)/SB-I, RDSO, Lucknow, on 20 March 2017 at Lucknow.
  • A memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed between CSIR-SERC and National Research Development Corporation (NRDC), New Delhi, on 6 January 2017, for marketing the inventions/innovations, patents, formulations, know-how/ processes developed by CSIR-SERC. The MoA was signed by Prof. Santosh Kapuria, Director, CSIR-SERC, and Dr. H. Purushotham, Chairman & Managing Director, NRDC.
  • A memorandum of agreement (MoA) was signed between CSIR-SERC and M/s Consortium Transmission Systems Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad, on 30 April 2015, for transfer of technology on Analysis, Designing and Structural Detailing of G+3 and G+1 Reinforced Concrete Building using EPS.
